Top spa tips for expectant mums and their blossoming bumps
A swim in any of our pools can be a very welcome opportunity to improve circulation and boost oxygen levels in any trimester.
We recommend taking a leisurely dip in our:
- Roman Pool
- Spa Garden Pool
- Nirvana Pool
- Colosseum Suite and Balneotherapy Pool
- Dead Sea Salt Therapy Pool (after 12 weeks)
We don’t recommend use of our mini-spas, hydrotherapy pool, or thermal suite due to the extreme temperatures, but you’re welcome to dangle your legs over the side of our hydrotherapy pool if you want to stay social with a group of friends.
Tepidarium
The Tepidarium is another perfect place to relax. Our heated ceramic loungers are just warm enough to soothe an aching back with a v shape which supports the legs.
You can spend as long as you want in this beautiful quiet space.

Treatments are a wonderful way to ease pains and treat your body to some much-needed relaxation as well as other enhancements that you can add to your day. Our suggestions below can be enjoyed during the second or third trimester.
Treatments
Massage releases those feel-good, pain-relieving endorphins that promote well-being. But, many essential oils and other products used during treatments need to be avoided during pregnancy. Our mum-to-be nurturing scalp and back massage uses products and massage techniques that have been carefully chosen to be safe and comforting. Our therapists have also been trained to understand the particular issues of pregnancy to ensure they know exactly how to look after you.
After 12 weeks, feel free to indulge in any of our facials.
Celestial Floatation
We highly recommend a session in our Celestial Floatation Pool after 12 weeks. The elimination of gravity on the body allows muscles and joints to release tension and heal more rapidly as well as having a calming emotional effect.
The perfect package
Our Mum-to-be package is designed with you in mind with access to our stunning facilities, a two course meal in our spa restaurant, and the Mum-to-be Nurturing Back and Scalp massage. You can also enjoy our Time Out and Simply Relaxation package at any time during your pregnancy. After 12 weeks, our Serene Relaxation or Radiant relaxation package is perfect for some rest and relaxation.
