Medicash
We offer Level 1 cover through Medicash. Cash plans are designed to help you meet the cost of everyday healthcare such as routine dental treatments, prescriptions and physiotherapy. There is also the added benefits of 24/7 health & stress-related helplines, virtual GPs and extra discounts with various retailers.
Please note, as this is medical cover, it is classed as a benefit in kind and therefore will be subject to P11D tax. The cost for this benefit per year is £101.52, which is paid by the company. You will only pay the tax on that value which equates to approximately £1.69 per month (for a 20% tax-paying employee).
Details of joining the Medicash scheme will be provided upon successful completion of your probationary period.

Life Assurance
This benefit is also known as “death in service” which pays 4x annual salary to your nominated beneficiaries.
The insurance is provided by Canada Life and will be for all contracted hours employees, up to the age of 65.
There is no cost to you for this benefit as it is not classed as a benefit in kind and is not subject to an employee tax contribution.
An expression of wishes form will need to be completed as this details whom you would like the benefit paid to in the event of your death. The scheme also includes bereavement and probate services.

Pension Scheme
Our pension scheme is arranged through Standard Life. When you commence employment with us you will receive details about how to join the scheme. Contributions start at 4.5%, which is matched by the company. If you require any additional information, please contact the HR team via [email protected].
Staff Membership
During your employment with us you will receive full membership of both Nirvana Spa and GYM 108.
Booking criteria:
- Visits can be booked online for any day or evening (subject to availability)
- To book in a guest, please visit reception.
- Please avoid peak times at our Reception areas. To book your visits please only visit Reception between 11am to 4.30pm or 7pm & 10pm
- There is no limit on the number of visits per week.
- Bookings can be no more than 6 days in advance
- Staff booking numbers will be restricted to 15 day and 15 evening
- Unrestricted use of GYM 108 is also available (no booking required)
Spouse Membership
- Spouse membership is available for GYM 108 at the cost of £37.50 per month
- Nirvana Spa spouse membership costs £90.00 per month
- To apply for a spouse membership please email [email protected]
- Spouse only applies to those residing at the same address. Proof of address will be required.
- Available upon successful completion of probation period.

Guest Passes
- Complimentary guest passes are issued annually on 1st April and are valid until 31st March.
- Full-time staff will receive 6 passes to Nirvana Spa & 6 passes to GYM 108. Part-time staff will receive 3 of each.
- Guests bookings can be made up to 6 days in advance.
- Staff Guest booking numbers will be restricted to 5 day and 5 evening
- Staff can check their evening guests in from 4pm.
- Staff can book guests in at a 50% discount of the guest fee, this benefit is available from your start date with us.
- The pro-rata allowance when completing probationary period after 1st April:

Treatments
Discounted treatments are available to you for on the day bookings:
- Treatments can be booked on the day at half price
- Bookings can be made after 11am once the Reception teams have managed rescue and the customer waiting list
- Please make treatment bookings direct at the Treatment reception only
- Bookings may be subject to cancellation based on the customer demand / therapist availability
- Discount also applies to Rasul bookings. It does not apply to floatation bookings or hydro-massage.
Flu Jab
- We offer the opportunity of a complimentary annual flu jab.
- These take place in September/October each year.
- Booking information is communicated nearer to the event.
Simply Relaxation Vouchers

Upon completion of your probationary period, you will be able to purchase Simply Relaxation Vouchers at a discounted rate of 50%. Allocation is 12 for full-time employees, 6 for part-time and 3 for OSA’s per year (1st April-31st March).
Pro-rata allowance upon passing probationary period after April 1st:

Product & Food Discounts
Our employees receive 20% discount on all of the products we sell. 10% discount applies to gift sets.
Employees also enjoy a discounted food and drink menu at the GYM 108 Café.
Junior Membership – GYM 108
- Free junior membership of GYM 108 is available to children of employees from the age of 11 up to 16 years.
- Access is available 7 days a week after 11am.
- Access is to the gym only. (no classes or pool use)
- Available upon successful completion of the probation period.

Employee Referral Scheme
Earn up to £450 by referring a friend or family member to join our team.
- The candidate must be a new referral, former employee referrals will not qualify.
- The candidates application on JobTrain must name the person who has made the referral.
- If a candidate applies via an agency then the referral bonus will not apply.
- Only one employee can claim a bonus per successful applicant.
- Payment will be made upon successful completion of the probationary period.
- The referral amount paid is based on £10 per contracted hour. This will be based on the contracted hours in the offer letter. Should an employee increase their hours after the start date we will refer to the offer letter for payment calculation.
